Then she looked at me & said with a little sparkle in her eyes, "quick mama...grab your camera...I have an idea!!!"

We were laughing, actually... it was more like hysterical giggling, all night.
Then she made this final creation...

This was a great reminder for me as I head into the crazy shopping frenzy for Christmas. Sometimes even the simplest of things can bring us so much pleasure.

Wow, she's really very pretty! And SO creative, make sure she runs with that. My friends sister was totally into crazy artsy stuff growing up and it got her a full ride to Bowling Green (her first choice college) in Ohio, everything is paid for including her housing for four years! Crazy crafts can pay off!
Hey, I just noticed, I have that same rug in my family room! Funny... I bet we would be friends if we lived near each other. Too bad I didn't "meet" you when we were living in Philly!
